Hello everyone, my name is Arianna.

 

I come from Italy and I am a passionate and certified teacher of Italian as a foreign language. 

Born and raised in Italy, I have loved writing and studying the Italian language and history since I was a child. For this reason, I studied Cultural Heritage and Archaeology at university, and I then specialized in teaching Italian to foreign students.

 

Today I am a certified teacher. What does it mean to be a certified teacher? It basically means that I studied a teaching course, and at the end of that course I was awarded a teaching certificate. My certification is Dils-pg II, which I obtained by taking an exam at the University of Foreigners in Perugia. I then continued studying, and took a second level Postgraduate Specialization Degree in Teaching Italian Language and Culture to Foreigners at the Iad School of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. 

 

The reason why I have been studying to get these certificates is just that I always want to find the best way to transmit my language! 

 

I have been teaching Italian in German schools and universities and online, meeting hundreds of students from all over the world (this is also a reason why I love my job!) and I’m always trying to create the best class for each of them, based on their goals, interests and learning method. I love teaching but also learning foreign languages and I deeply believe in ‘lifelong learning’, the desire to continue learning and improving throughout one’s life, especially in the field of languages: you never stop learning and it is never too late to start!
